Owners and tenants have a new tool to deal with vehicles improperly parked in assigned spaces
Up until now signs on the property warning that Incline Pines is a “tow zone” have been nothing more than a hollow threat aimed at “encouraging” unauthorized drivers to avoid parking in assigned unit spaces.
But recent incidents involving owners blocked from their spaces by unknown vehicles led the HOA to explore a stronger response.

Under a new agreement with Sparks-based Milne (MILL-nee) Towing Services, Nevada-compliant signs have been placed at the community’s entry and exit, allowing owners and authorized tenants to call for an immediate impound of vehicles improperly parked in their assigned space(s).
Before calling for a tow truck, owners and authorized tenants must fill out an authorization form provided by community manager Tashina Habibian at (775) 624-3915.
Important: Nevada law (NRS 706.4477) does NOT allow the immediate towing of vehicles in spaces that are not CLEARLY MARKED. You must not call for a tow truck that won’t be able to impound the vehicle because the space(s) do not meet the criteria.
Keep in mind that the tow yard in Sparks is a minimum 45-minute drive to Incline Pines in fair weather. Please consider whether the offending vehicle is likely to still be there when the tow truck arrives.
Alternatively, without actually calling for a tow, you may choose to post a warning on the vehicle to hopefully prevent a recurrence:
The HOA researched finding a closer towing service but discovered there are none on the north shore with an impound yard.
Milne Towing is the company used and recommended by Western Nevada Management.
