BurnBot defensible space plan

Master forester and BurnBot project manager Alexis “Lex” Nelson met with Incline Pines board members and other homeowners Monday May 5 to outline the company’s plan to reduce the risk of wildfire in the community.

The HOA has committed roughly $32,000 for the week-long project tentatively scheduled to take place in July. This should greatly reduce the overall fire risk while the HOA separately considers removing individual trees as needed to help homeowners meet insurance requirements.

This video is a condensed version of Monday’s tour, but should give you a basic understanding of the process.
